Fishing Team
The Brownsboro High School Fishing Team offers student anglers not only the chance to land a big one, but also the opportunity to learn patience, teamwork, and sportsmanship both on and off the water. From early mornings at the lake to the excitement of weigh-ins, every outing brings challenges and triumphs. Since high school fishing is not UIL-sanctioned, student anglers may earn scholarships and other prizes as early as their freshman year. Anglers may fish solo or with a partner, but they must provide their own captain(s) and boat that meet Texas High School Bass Association criteria. Open to all skill levels, each team competes in five Divisional Tournaments, with the opportunity to advance to the Regional, State, and Angler of the Year Top 10 Tournaments.
