Brownsboro High School

Home

Welcome to my class page. This will be my fourth year as a full time teacher, but my 7th year with Brownsboro ISD. Before I started teaching English full time I was a substitute teacher for 3 years. I am a tried and true Brownsboro Bear! I graduated from BHS in 2006, and went on to college at Howard Payne University where I graduated with my Bachelors in Political Science and I minored in English. I enjoy working with the Mock Trial team and producing a winning team.  I love working with kids and seeing them smile when they finally understand something new.

****Also to help your students be better prepared you can have them watch the news and learn about things that are happening in the world that they can use in their writing.  For 9th graders they will need to explain different examples and ideas, but for 10th graders they will need to argue and convince their readers that their side and ideas are correct.
